Meet Kevin Keding
60+ years of playing. 20+ years of teaching. A lifetime of refining the art of the golf swing.

"The best golf is the golf that feels like nothing at all."
The Master Instructor
Refining the Game for Decades.
Kevin Keding has played golf for over 60 years. He competed professionally in his early years, shot 63, and won tournaments. But two years ago, he was ready to walk away. Not because he didn't love the game—but because the modern double pivot rotational swing had become a grind. Then he and a colleague started studying film of the greats: Hogan, Snead, Nelson, Nicklaus. What they found changed everything.
The legends weren't doing what modern instruction says they were doing. They had discovered something simpler—a motion built on cause and effect, not endless swing thoughts. Kevin rebuilt his game around these principles, and now teaches them to golfers of all levels, both in-person at his Wilmington, NC location and globally via high-definition video sessions.
What you get: personalized swing analysis, slow-motion video breakdowns, drills tailored to your body, and ongoing support. No gimmicks. No complicated positions. Just a swing that feels natural and lasts a lifetime.

The Discovery
Why Most Golfers Never Improve.
There are 65 million golfers worldwide. 61 million of them can't break 95. Four million quit every year because it's too hard. The clubs get better, the technology improves—but the scores stay the same.
The problem isn't talent. It's the swing. The modern double pivot rotational swing demands hours of practice and elite athleticism just to be consistent. Most golfers don't have the time, the mobility, or the desire to grind on the range.
When we studied film of the greats—Hogan, Snead, Nelson, Nicklaus—we found they weren't doing what modern instruction claims. They had discovered something simpler. A motion built on cause and effect. One setup. One grip. One move. From putter to driver.
Think of the Fosbury Flop in high jump. Before Dick Fosbury, everyone jumped chest-first. Then he went over backward -- and changed the sport forever. We believe One Axis is that kind of shift for golf.
A Lesson from a Legend
"I take it back... and I hit it."
— Sam Snead, to Kevin, 1979
At 19, Kevin worked at Bardmoor Country Club in Florida during the JCPenney Mixed Team event. The field included Sam Snead, Kathy Whitworth, Lee Trevino, and Tom Watson.
After the round, Kevin asked Sam to lunch. When he asked how Sam hit it so pure, the answer was simple: no checklist, no mechanics—just rhythm and a square strike.
That philosophy is at the heart of One Axis. We don't add more swing thoughts. We remove them.

The Science
The Kinetic Chain Explained
The same principle that powers a baseball swing, a hockey slap shot, and Bruce Lee's one-inch punch.
What is the Kinetic Chain?
The kinetic chain is how energy flows naturally through your body—from the ground, through your legs, hips, torso, arms, and finally to the club. When the chain is connected, power transfers efficiently. When it's broken, you lose speed and accuracy.
The Problem with the Modern Double Pivot
The modern double pivot rotational swing breaks the kinetic chain by teaching weight shift and timing-dependent moves. This requires perfect synchronization—something that takes thousands of hours to master and breaks down under pressure.
Research Validated
Backed by Biomechanical Science
Dr. Robert Neal, a leading expert in golf biomechanics, confirmed that efficient energy transfer through the kinetic chain is critical for maximizing clubhead speed and accuracy.
Dr. Sasho MacKenzie, sports scientist, demonstrated that proper kinetic sequencing can increase clubhead speed by 10-15% while reducing injury risk.
